Hunter Amos, (b. Australia) a fine artist from rural New South Wales, holds a unique voice in the art world of New York City. After attending Parsons School of Design, Amos has pursued his work out of his Bowery studio, expanding his practice from portraiture into abstract figuration and materialism. Infusing each piece with a revitalised significance through dynamic compositions, intricate abstractions, and nuanced juxtapositions of form, his practice explores selfhood with societal relations.

The integration of diverse materials, such as cement, plastics and sand, with classical painting mediums has been a defining aspect of his oeuvre, yielding works that are both visually stimulating and texturally immersive.
